Big Brother Power Of Veto Rules: Check What Does Big Brother Power Of Veto Do?

Big Brother Power Of Veto Rules

In a Big Brother game, the Power of Veto allows the owner to veto one (or in some cases two) of the Nominations on the block. After that, the Head of Household must make a new nomination. The Veto Power is usually obtained through a tournament. The Head of Household and two candidates are eligible to compete right away. They are subsequently joined by three houseguests who are chosen at random. In some cases, as a twist, this format may be modified. Apart from competitions, Powers of Veto can be obtained in unusual circumstances, such as as a prize in some twists. If the Power of Veto Holder does not announce whether or not he or she intends to use the Veto within the given time frame, the Veto will be regarded unused, and the nominations made by the Head of Household will stay unchanged.

Big Brother Veto Rules

Types of Powers of Veto are given below,

  • Golden Power of Veto

    • The winner has the Golden Power of Veto, which allows them to veto any nomination from the Nomination Block, even their own.

    • If the Veto was invoked, the HOH would choose a substitute nominee. If someone who isn’t on the block wins the POV, they can take down a nomination while remaining safe.

    • Alternatively, they can keep the nominations the same.

  • Diamond Power of Veto

    • Instead of deferring to the HOH for a replacement nominee, the Diamond Power of Veto allows the bearer to remove a houseguest from the Nomination Block and choose their own replacement nominee.

    • The HOH or the usual Veto holder may not be replaced by the bearer of this Veto.

    • Perry received this as a present from Pandora’s Box in Season One of Big Brother ORG Wiki, and it was first introduced in Season One of Big Brother ORG Wiki.

    • It comes with the caveat that as long as he had the Diamond Power of Veto, he cannot be randomly selected as a participant in POV competitions unless he is an HOH or Nominee.

    • It can only be used until the last five minutes of the game.

Power Of Veto Twists

    • Dani elected to utilize the Veto Power on herself because she was nominated before the POV competition.

  • Double Veto

    • If the bearer of the Power of Veto decides to utilize the Power of Veto, he or she must remove both nominees from the running.

    • The Head of Household must then nominate two new houseguests to replace the saved houseguests.

    • Big Brother ORG wiki’s second season was the first to feature it.

    • Tom, the winner of the week’s HOH competition, touched the Control Panel button, resulting in a Double Veto in Week 3 of Big Brother 2. Dani, the POV holder, however, chose not to exercise his right to veto.
